Microstation_How to create a new drawing_correct method

Many of us, just open the old drawing, then "save as". Most of times, it works. but it the drawing that you pick up has some trouble, then the trouble will carry into your new drawing. So, what is the correct method to create a new drawing?

1.    Find the seed file by follow location: W:\Bentley\Workspace\Standards\Seed

(The seed file has been set down by Bentley, and all the standard files are saved at this location)

           

2.    Normally, there’re couples of seed file, you just pick up the one that fit to your desire.

3.    Now, save as to your work drive. then insert the title block that you need.
